Jasmine Edwards and Chris Rock joined forces in 2016 alongside Jasmine’s mother, longtime Jamaican restaurateur, Marjorie Barnett, to open a restaurant they hoped would transform the Jamaican food experience. Traditional Caribbean food is influenced by many other regions, and they found that creating exciting, gourmet Jamaican fusion cuisine came easily to them. It all comes from a passion to bring Jamaican food to a finer level than it’s historically been presented in America. At Jamerican, you will find traditional Jamaican dishes fused with European and American elements to create a taste experience like no other. The urban chic, upscale dining concept is the perfect pairing to the big flavors served up at Jamerican Cuisine.
