At Piatto Bravo we cook for our family, and that's why our culinary proposal is so exquisitely simple: we only use authentic Italian products and fresh ingredients to deliver our rendition of traditional Italian recipes. The space we've created is elegantly casual, yet modern and relaxed, and it features live cooking and our signature wood-fired pizza oven as its centerpiece.
Our executive chef & partner's passion for cuisine was instilled in her at a young age by her family, and at the age of 18 she left home to attend the renowned culinary school of Johnson & Wales, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Food Service Management and Culinary Arts. Afterwards, she attended L’Ecole Lenôtre, in Paris, where she received four Specialty Degrees. In 2008 she became part of the kitchen team at the Mandarin Oriental in Brickell Key, where she helped run a top notch kitchen. In February 2013 she co-founded Forno Bravo, a modern trattoria with an innovative approach to traditional Italian gastronomy. In 2019 it opened in Wellington, Florida, as Piatto Bravo.
